Curriculum vitae (fast forward):

Born 1944, 2x married (sequentially), 1 daughter, 0 dogs. Since 1971 graduate physicist, lecturer at the Computer Center of the University of Hamburg. Publications, courses and lectures about C, C++, Java, Unix and others. 1996 anatomical transformation into a monopede. 2006 first occupational advancement (to retirement pensioner).

Publications:

"Kornshell-Programmierung" and "Die C++ iostreams-Library" (Hanser-Verlag), out of print.
Handbook "C++ für C-Programmierer", edited by TU Hannover.

Preferences:

Playing piano (Bach, Brahms, Bartok, Jazz).
Programming (Java, Python, C, shell scripts, etc.).

Preferred OS:

Linux, especially Crux with IceWM as window manager and ROX as file manager.

Preferred religion: Bokononism
